The Edge is built up with thick impasto layers to recreate the choppy sea and jagged edges of the cliff faces. The colours naturally capture the warm rays of a blustery afternoon at the end of the world. Inspiration for my white cliff paintings is the stunning English coastline, famous for its spectacular and unique beauty.
